The writer of this song had been through a very odd series of events surrounding his recent break up: this song addresses his progress since that point in his life, whilst reflecting on the experience. The dream like imagery and metaphorical allegories we chose to play with were a lot of fun to make - as was the utilisation of smoke granades and dry throwing paint!

Synopsis:
During the Mid-Nineties, back when bouncers were but low level gangsters and brawlers, the law was passed that a licence was needed for you to be a doorman.
Doorways explores Johnny's journey into manhood as the 'softy' new-comer becomes closer with down-and-out hard man, Craig. An exploration of outdated masculinity, with some laughs along the way and a dark unravelling of things unexpected.

Synopsis:
Ruby wakes from a bad dream to find herself in a real life nightmare. She's trapped in a basement, her legs are broken and she can't remember who she is or how she got there. Her kidnapper, Tom, tells her she will remain captive until she falls in love with him. Ruby is focused on trying to escape until Tom starts helping her to remember her past and she begins to question everything.
Project:
This is very much the baby of our friend and working partner, Edward Palmer. Instead of knuckling down to Ace his course studies, Edward decided to channel his efforts towards this ginormous passion project.By the time he left The University Of Westminster in 2016, aged 22, he had completed his first feature film. However, as luck would have it with most
independent films, Hippopotamus wasn't without its share of set backs. Sadly, around two thirds of the on set sound was lost during some anomalous file transfers, and the majority of the film had to be re-dubbed. This was a lengthy process, but We are tremendously proud to have any affiliation with Edward for having offered up our studio space as a means for him to complete his Debut Feature Film. It is now in the process of being distributed internationally, and his arduous efforts are soon to receive the long awaited pay off.
